This is a class on Intermediate Political Economy, focusing on advanced capitalist countries, with a special emphasis on the US. The goal of the course is to teach students how to approach questions from a political economy perspective as well as gain an understanding of how the US system affects people?s lives and explore alternatives to this system. There will be no use of formal models or econometrics.

ECON 103, 105, or RES-ECON 102 Open only to ECON/ STPEC/ RES-ECON/MGRECON primary majors until November 18, then open to all.

Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
