Mechatronics as the synergistic integration of mechanical design, electronics design, controls, and embedded programming throughout the product and process design, with the aim to optimize the final design output. This course covers mechatronic system design process, low-level interfacing of software with hardware, implementing real-time computation tasks, digital logic, analog devices and power amplifiers, measurement and sensing, actuators, and control of mechatronic systems.

E&C-ENG 361 & M&I-ENG 344 Prerequisites: E&C-ENG 361 and M&I-ENG 344 which may be taken concurrently
