Mechanical & Industrial Engrg 689 - Graduate Seminar

The goal of this seminar is to introduce the graduate students to different cutting edge research projects that are ongoing in the Department and at other Institutions and to promote interdisciplinary research collaboration by encouraging the students to attend the Departmental Seminars and PhD/MS defenses.

Required for all Mechanical Engineering PhD and MS Thesis candidates. These students only need to register for this course once during their studies in the program. It is recommended to enroll in this seminar during your first semester, but the second semester is fine instead. The seminar requirements may be found in the MIE Graduate Handbook.
