This course is only open to students registered for the BioPioneers RAP in Crabtree Hall. This course is designed for freshmen or sophomores, who are interested in becoming involved with undergraduate research. In this two-credit hour course, students will focus on science communication skills in oral and written formats, discuss the interplay between human biology and social issues by reading a published book, conduct critical analysis of science papers from the primary literature and cover material relevant to being a successful undergraduate science student.
