This course explores approaches to storytelling through images, time, and sequence. Focusing on visual narrative as a broad field of artistic and professional practice, the course examines how meaning, emotion, and information can be communicated through character design, staging, pacing, and narrative structure. Visual narrative spans many disciplines, including animation, comics, illustration, film, game design, interactive media, and installation. Specific topics, techniques, and assignments will vary depending on the instructor?s area of expertise. Faculty teaching the course will shape the curriculum around their own research and professional practice, introducing students to particular methods, tools, and conceptual frameworks relevant to their specialization.

Open to Undergraduate Art ,BFA-Art & BFA-Design majors only. ART 275 or 276
