The course covers the basic principles of the scientific method with a particular focus on research topics in Biomedical Engineering. The course covers hypothesis formulation, designing experiments to test hypotheses, and data analyses. It also covers approaches to writing, reading, and critiquing research journal articles.

Graduate students only. This course will not count as Technical Elective for BME undergraduate majors.
