Seismic considerations for the design of civil engineering systems. Topics include geology of earthquakes, strong motion records, ground motion, site amplification, response spectra, seismic hazard, seismic design.

Open to undergraduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and graduate students. Pre Req: CE-ENGIN 320 Open to Seniors & Grad students with a GPA of 3.0 or better or by consent of the instructor.
