With lab. Introduction to VLSI design and custom design methodology in MOS. Topics include: MOS devices and circuits, fabrication, structures, sub-system and system design, layout, CAD techniques, and testing.

This course is open to Seniors and Graduate students in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or ECE only. E&C-ENG 210 and 231 Open to seniors and graduate students in ECE. Prerequisites: E&C-ENG 210 and E&C-ENG 231 or equivalents. Prior courses covering basics of circuit analysis, electronics, combinational logic, and sequential logic are required. Experience with Linux and Verilog are helpful but not required
