Finance 301 - Fundamentals of Finance

The time value of money; valuation of financial securities; allocating capital; an introduction to risk and risky decision making; the financing decision of the firm; financial statement and working capital management; more special topics include mergers and acquisitions, and international finance. Prerequisite: ACCOUNTG 221

Open to sophomore, junior, and senior Isenberg School of Management majors, Business Minor students, Economics majors, Resource Economics majors, Managerial Economics majors, and students in the Actuarial subplan. ACCOUNTG 221 or 233 The course prerequisite for Business Minor students is ACCOUNTNG 233.
