This seminar will support your transition to college and introduce you to a topic in engineering. The course will be an exploration of an exciting engineering-related topic of societal impact. This seminar will also introduce basic skills and available resources skills for life as a college student.

First-year (R1ST) Course Title: Foundations and Applications of Embedded Software Development
Students will explore how microcontrollers work, how to write programs that interact with hardware, and how embedded systems are used in real-world applications such as IoT, robotics, and consumer electronics.
