This seminar will support your transition to college and introduce you to a topic in engineering. The course will be an exploration of an exciting engineering-related topic of societal impact. This seminar will also introduce basic skills and available resources skills for life as a college student.

First-year (R1ST) Course Title: Building the Internet: The Ideas Behind Global Connection
Explore how the Internet was built, from early communication systems to modern networks, and learn the core ideas that enable global connectivity, data exchange, and reliable communication across billions of devices.
