This course explores travel from antiquity to modernity, within the contexts of Jewish history and Sustainability. Themes include nomadism, the "Wandering Jew," the "Lost Ten Tribes," pilgrimage, forced and voluntary migration, ethnography, and tourism. (Gen. Ed. HS, DG)
