Judaic Studies H363 - Religion and State (colloq)

This course examines the role of Jews and Judaism in shaping the negotiation of Religion and State in Europe, especially with the emergence of secularism and the modern nation-state. The honors section will pay special attention to issues of secularism and theories of secularization.
