Natural Resources Conservation 192A - S-Introduction to NRC

This course is designed to provide information and skills to ease your transition into the Natural Resources Conservation (NRC) major --- and into UMass as a whole. This seminar will provide a framework for discovering the many educational opportunities available to you at the University, as well as learning about the various support services that are available to you on campus. Additionally, we will learn more about the different concentrations and pathways through NRC and examine some current environmental and conservation challenges to gain an appreciation for the types of issues by NRC professionals.
