This course provides the student with an understanding of major theories used to understand health problems in communities. Grounded in social and behavioral sciences, students will examine the tools and strategies used by public health educators to educate and empower people about health issues.
Open to sophomore, junior, and senior Public Health majors only. SPHHS 150 w/ C- This course has reserved seating for sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the Public Health Sciences major.
