Public Health 496T - IS-Pubhlth Assistant Leadershp

This independent study offers returning Undergraduate Course Assistants (UCAs) the opportunity to deepen their leadership, communication, and instructional support skills by serving in an advanced, leadership-based UCA role for a Public Health Sciences course. Leadership responsibilities may include mentoring new UCAs, helping to coordinate UCA activities, and supporting the faculty member in the development and facilitation of course materials, assignments, and learning activities.

This class is open to Public Health majors only Open to students who have successfully completed a UCA position in the course for which they are applying for a UCA leadership role. Students must complete and submit the PUBHLTH 496T application form to be considered for available leadership UCA positions. The application form is open for submissions during class registration periods and closes after the first day of classes.
Students approved for PUBHLTH 496T independent study credits will be enrolled by a program administrator.
