This is the second part of a two-course series dedicated to the Anatomy and Physiology of domestic animals. This course covers gross anatomy and physiology of domestic animals, using a comparative approach of species encountered in the veterinary field. In labs, the students use anatomical models and histology slides to learn gross anatomy. They will learn the physiology of the organ systems through clinical case studies. In this course, the focus is on the integument, the sensory organs, the nervous system, the immune system, the blood, the endocrine system and homeostasis. The other systems are covered in ANMLSCI 221.
Open to VETTECH students. ANIMLSCI 221 w/ C
