Detailed study of macro and micro nutrients, their digestion, absorption, and metabolism by various domesticated animal species for maintenance and production. Introduction to feeding programs.
Open to junior and senior Pre-Veterinary Science majors. Pre Req: ANIMLSCI 220 BS-AnSci seniors who need this course to graduate in May or Sept. 2025 should contact the Instructor smarston@umass.edu to request enrollment. Include SPIRE ID and lab# that fits your schedule.
