Topics in Advanced Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian I is an advanced course in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian (BCS) offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study and an evaluation by an outside evaluator, as well as collaborative contribution of course readings and discussion questions. Students studying BCS develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Serbia and engagement with BCS-speaking communities, and to support course work in European Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Prerequisite: Serbo-Croatian I - VIII or equivalent.
