Advanced Hindi and Urdu for Health and Human Services is an advanced course offered through the Five College Center for World Languages for advanced speakers of Hindi or Urdu. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students will develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills related to health and human well-being in Hindi- and Urdu-speaking contexts, to prepare them for study abroad in Pakistan or India and engagement with Hindi- and Urdu-speaking communities, and to support course work in South Asian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.
