Levantine Arabic IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Levantine Arabic offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying colloquial Levantine Arabic develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Levant and engagement with Levantine Arabic-speaking communities, and to support course work in Middle Eastern Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Students must apply to add this course. Contact the Five College Center for World Languages at fivecolleges.edu/languages.

Prerequisite: Levantine Arabic III or equivalent.

Permission is required for interchange registration during all registration periods.
