Malay IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Malay offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Malay develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Malaysia and engagement with Malay-speaking communities, and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Students must apply to add this course. Contact the Five College Center for World Languages for details: fivecolleges.edu/languages.

Prerequisite: Malay I - III or equivalent.

Permission is required for interchange registration during all registration periods.
