Topics in Advanced Urdu IV is an advanced course in Urdu offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course is structured around studying authentic language materials to answer essential questions with the target language. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials, intensive independent study, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator, as well as collaborative contribution of course readings and discussion questions. Students studying Urdu will develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills through working with native-language, authentic content.

Prerequisite: Topics in Advanced Urdu I - III or equivalent.

Permission is required for interchange registration during all registration periods.
