Greek V is the first part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Modern Greek offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Greek develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Greece and engagement with Greek-speaking communities, and to support course work in European and Mediterranean Studies, Classics, History, and Archaeology and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.
Students must apply to add this course. Contact the Five College Center for World Languages for details: fivecolleges.edu/languages.
Prerequisite: Modern Greek I - IV or equivalent.
