Filipino VI is the second part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Filipino offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Filipino develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Philippines and engagement with Filipino-speaking communities, and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.
Students must apply to add this course; Contact the Five College Center for World Languages for details: fivecolleges.edu/languages.
Prerequisite: Filipino I - V or equivalent.
