This course focuses on evidence-based nutritional approaches for optimizing athletic performance. Nutrition and hydration strategies pre, during, and post exercise for both endurance-focused and strength-focused athletes are covered in detail with emphasis on applied learning and critical thinking. Other topics include common sport supplements, performance nutrition for special populations, and relative energy deficiency in sport.
