Psychological & Brain Sciences 494NI - Professional Dev/Neuroscience

This course will focus on professional development relevant to careers in neuroscience and related fields. You will reflect on your undergraduate experience, identify your overall skill set, engage in several networking events with guest speakers, and create a professional portfolio. We will review empirical literature regarding real world problems relevant to neuroscience majors and connect these events with potential career options. This course will satisfy the Integrative Experience Requirement for Neuroscience majors when taken in combination with Biology 572: Advanced Neurobiology.

Open to junior and senior NEURO students or PSYCH primary majors in the Neuroscience track. When taken in combination with Bio 572, this course will satisfy the Integrative Experience Requirement for Neuroscience majors. Psych 494NI and Bio 572 do not need to be taken in the same semester.
