This course aims to develop analytical, decision-making and communication skills as related to researching and developing interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary solutions to big problems (aka Wicked Problems). The class exposes or ?bursts the bubble? of major issues facing the global economy, cultures, and communities and the global population. The class will look primarily at the UN Sustainable Development Goals as well as other topics. Students will develop knowledge and skills related to: understanding the key problems, debating the merits and implications of the key topics, reviewing potential disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches for dealing with such problems, and developing a research proposal focusing on a global topic.

Open to Commonwealth Honors College Students only. Students must also enroll in SCH-MGMT H390Q.
