Computer Animation I

First of two semester sequence. Creative animation techniques for motion graphics, film, video, music and technology. Animation software and professional compositing programs are used. Storyboarding, production design scheduling and production issues are incorporated. Emphasis is on creativity and professionalism.

Paint IV:Advanced Paint Prob I

Studio. Thematic development based on the study of objects, the environment, the human figure, and non-objective vocabularies. Includes related contemporary and historical issues. Individual and group critiques used to develop continuity of work. Materials: unspecified. Prerequisite: ART 223, or consent of instructor.

Photography III

This course focuses on employing and expanding upon previously learned technical and critical skills specific to student' individual interests, practices and ideas. Critiques, readings lectures, labs.

Foundation Studio 1

Foundation Studio is a course designed to introduce students to the materials, techniques, language, concepts and process of making, using and thinking/talking about Art. Unlike many other art courses, Foundations is an experience where learning comes not only from the projects and their results but also from the interaction among the entire group of students. Basic Studio/Drawing

Studio for majors. A comprehensive introduction to drawing as a basic foundation for expression intrinsic to all visual arts disciplines.
