ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY

(Formerly PSY 252) A study of psychopathology and related issues. Course will cover a broad range of mental and personality disorders. Recent clinical and experimental findings stressed, particularly as they relate to major conceptions of mental illness.

CLINICAL NEUROSCIENCE

(Formerly PSY 221) Introduction to brain-behavior relations in humans and other species. An overview of anatomical, neural, hormonal, and neurochemical bases of behavior in both normal and clinical uses. Major topics include the biological basis of sexual behavior, sleep, emotions, depression, schizophrenia, autism, ADHD, and neurological disorders. The course will focus on clinical cased in neuroscience. Open to entering students.
