Quantum Mechanics (colloq)
In addition to meeting all of the class, homework, and exam requirements for Physics 424, students in Physics H424 will have one additional meeting per week and graded assignments associated with this meeting. In this meeting we will be discussing numerical approaches to quantum mechanical problems and for assignments, the students will write their own computer programs to simulate quantum systems.
Mechanics I (colloq)
This course addresses advanced topics in Classical Mechanics. The colloquium is based on the topics covered in PHYS 421, but with an emphasis on establishing interdisciplinary connections between Classical Mechanics, E&M, relativistic motion, and Hamiltonian & Lagrangian formulations.
