Professional Development in Psychology is an exciting course designed to expose you to diverse career opportunities and prepare you for life after graduation. In this course you will reflect on and further develop the skills you gained in general education courses and apply them to your major by exploring real-world opportunities relevant to psychology. This course offers an introduction to African film as an aesthetic and cultural practice. Students should expect to be familiarized with the key ideas and objectives that have inspired and driven that practice since the early 1960s, and be furnished with the technical tools and methodological skills that would permit them to understand, analyze, and think critically about the artistic and thematic aspects of the films that are screened.

Students should expect to be familiarized with the key ideas and objectives that have inspired and driven that practice since the early 1960s, and be furnished with the technical tools and methodological skills that would permit them to understand, analyze, and think critically about the artistic and thematic aspects of the films that are screened.

Multivariate Calculus, Hons

Techniques of calculus in two and three dimensions. Vectors, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, line integrals, and a complete coverage of Vector Analysis, including the theorems of Green, Stokes, and Gauss. There will be some emphasis on the underlying theory, numerous applications will be included, and some attention will be paid to history. Active student participation will be encouraged. A 50-minute discussion meeting will be included in this course.
