Honors Independent Study

This is a stand-alone independent study designed by the student and faculty sponsor that involves frequent interaction between instructor and student.Qualitative and quantitative enrichment must be evident on the proposed contract before consent is given to undertake the study. S- From Here to Career HFA

This career development course is designed to help Humanities and Fine Arts students prepare for internship and job opportunities through the acquisition of professional competencies needed to succeed in today's evolving job market. Students will be encouraged to explore career pathways that align with their personal values, preferences, and skill sets. The class encourages students to develop a variety of professionalization skills, such as internship and job search strategies, resume and cover letter customization, networking, and interviewing techniques.

Traversing Differences: Global

This is a small discussion-based course that focuses on reading transformative texts drawn from a global context. You will read fiction and poetry alongside works of philosophy, history, politics, and sociology that describe, model, and examine the complexities of human experience. This course is designed to "transcend" individual majors, bringing students from across campus into shared conversation, helping you develop and practice skills for success in college, career, and life.
