S-Prac in Sch Psych Assessment

The purpose of this practicum is to provide students with practicing and supervised training in administering assessments common to the practice of school psychology. Such assessments include cognitive and intellectual assessment, educational and academic assessments, curriculum based assessments and measurement, and social/emotional and behavioral assessments.

Economics of Health

The course provides an overview of the economics of health and of health care with special attention to the roles of market failure, equity, and policy. Economics of Health will apply the tools of economics and quantitative analysis to understanding the structure, performance, and problems of health and the health care sector. Students will develop institutional knowledge and analytic tools needed to contribute to public policy debates about health and health care.

FYS-Economics Behind Our Lives

The Economics Department offers seminars to first-year students building on the College of Social and Behavioral Science's program on becoming a college student. In addition to discussing important topics in independent living, academic success, and using University resources, we add economics content on the general topic of the economics behind our lives. Relevant readings will be drawn from Real World Micro and Real World Macro.
