Spain's history and identity; the role of the church, women, and social classes. Use of literary and non-literary texts, and videos. Historical periods covered depend on the instructor and/or semester. Prerequisite: SPANISH 320 or 321 or 322 or 323, or consent of instructor.

Lang Suite Convrsatn

This two-credit conversational course focuses on the diverse cultures and social issues of the Spanish-speaking world and is designed in conjunction with the living-learning language community (RAP). Participants live in a residence hall with students engaged in one of our 6 language programs. Participants may be Spanish language learners with conversational fluency, native speakers, or heritage speakers.
