ST-Env Nanoscience & Nanotech

This course explores the potential environmental and health impacts of nanoscience and nanotechnology. It covers topics such as: the fate and transport of nanomaterials in the environment, state-of-the-art techniques for the characterization of nanomaterials, and new methods for developing nanomaterials with less environmental risk.

Groundwater

Hydrology, geology, chemistry, and engineering design of groundwater systems. Topics include groundwater and the hydrologic cycle, groundwater hydraulics, groundwater as a resource, natural groundwater chemistry, groundwater contamination and remediation.
