Assisting high school students in learning computer programming in the context of a high school course. The language of instruction will be Java. Students taking this independent study will be expected to work under the direct supervision the high school computer science teacher at a local high school. Students are expected to attend classes weekly for approximately one hour. Course evaluation will be performed by the high school teacher in cooperation with the supervising faculty member, and a final written report will be required.
