The main goal of the STEM mentoring program is to increase middle school students? STEM content knowledge and career interest through authentic scientific inquiry in a mentored after-school program. This course builds upon the Freshman STEM Ambassadors Program Experience. The sophomore experience is approximately 50% research experience & 50% STEM AP programming.

Efficient and effective methods for managing "information overload" and for finding, using, evaluating, organizing, and presenting information. For first or second year students and transfer students who may benefit. No prerequisites.

Students will work in teams to research and develop solutions to the sustainable challenges facing our society. They will collaborate to investigate, critically evaluate, effectively communicate, and reflect on the multifaceted challenges associated with addressing sustainable resource use, water, food, energy, transportation, waste management, and climate change.
