This seminar addresses human geography-grounded perspectives on climate change, impacts, and responses. It provides an opportunity to engage in critical reading, reflection, and discussion about the great moral, political, economic, and environmental challenge of our time, through the lens of political ecology. Political ecology, a key subfield of geography, links a focus on understanding environmental conditions and change with the promotion of sustainability, conservation, and social justice.
