This course provides a broad view of entrepreneurship. Topics include the business plan, raising money for a new venture, assessing the riskiness of new businesses and the unique management challenges of startups.

Social Entrepreneurship

Social entrepreneurship involves using the skills and strategies of business to innovatively and sustainably solve social, environmental, and economic problems. As a result, this course will help students identify and create business opportunities that have positive social impacts.

Acctng Info Systems

Examines information systems from the perspective of the documents, processes, and controls that are needed to satisfy information requirements for financial statements, as well as the needs of decision makers within the firm. Manual systems introduced and transferred to various computer-based options. Prerequisite: SCH-MGMT 210.
