The myths and legends associated with members of the Nordic pantheon through written sources, archaeological evidence, and findings in the field of comparative mythology. Conducted in English. Beginning of four-skill language course. Russian spoken in class, grammar introduced gradually. Regular written assignments to develop proficiency in all four language skills. No previous language experience required.

An opportunity to learn and learn about Russian songs: folk, popular, decadent and revolutionary.

Discussion, based on varied topics of current interest and from modern Portuguese and Brazilian writers to develop good speaking ability in Portuguese. Conversations center on everyday life situations. Intended to expand fluency, vocabulary, and cultural awareness.
