Electronics I
With discussions and lab. Use of nonlinear devices such as diodes, field effect transistors (FETs), and bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) in the design of simple analog and digital circuits. Design projects make use of PSPICE. Prerequisites: grades of C or better in E&C-ENG 212 and 221.
ST-Urdu V
This course combines independent study with small group conversation sessions and one-on-one peer-tutoring. Students studying Urdu develop speaking, listening, and basic literacy skills needed for study abroad in Pakistan and to support course work in South Asian Studies.
ST-OrganicCompounds/Wastewatr
This course is primarily concerned with both natural and anthropogenic organic compounds in water. It will cover information on occurrence, origin, transformations, modeling, and impacts on human and ecological health.
