Required for all students in the M.A. in Art Education Program. Current issues in art education. Readings, discussions, and lectures. Graduate Art Education majors only.
Seminar/Studio format. Students meet as a group with rotating faculty member. Projects and focus determined by faculty expertise and student interest. Emphasis placed on developing a personal studio practice and artistic voice. Group critiques balanced with individual research and work in any sculpture facility. Technical competency in sculpture fundamentals required.
Design concepts evolving from a flat surface. Elements of design, principles of organization and basic color theory. Same as 131, but open to non-majors. (Gen.Ed. AT)
An overview of causes, characteristics, assessment and treatment methods pertaining to autism spectrum disorders. Topics include genetic bases, early intervention, academic training, social and life skills development.
