ST-Burmese I

Burmese I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Burmese. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Burmese develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Myanmar (Burma) and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

ST- Dutch II

Dutch II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Dutch. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Dutch develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Netherlands and to support course work in European Studies.

Prerequisite: Dutch I or equivalent

S-Prac College Dvrsty Teaching

College Diversity Teaching is designed for doctoral students in SJE who are currently engaged in teaching EDUC 210. It provides the structure in which instructors can plan, share, and explore their own and each other's instructional designs; discuss the challenges and opportunities that emerge while teaching the course; enlarge their own and each other's understanding of the SJE course content; generate new pedagogical activities; contribute their work to the on-going Instructor's Manual; and engage in classroom research.

Prerequisites: EDUC 691E, 624, 627, and 648
