Electronics I

With discussions and lab. Use of nonlinear devices such as diodes, field effect transistors (FETs), and bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) in the design of simple analog and digital circuits. Design projects make use of PSPICE. Prerequisites: grades of C or better in E&C-ENG 212 and 221.

ST-Urdu V

This course combines independent study with small group conversation sessions and one-on-one peer-tutoring. Students studying Urdu develop speaking, listening, and basic literacy skills needed for study abroad in Pakistan and to support course work in South Asian Studies.

Adv Pathophysiology

Concepts and theories related to disorders of physiological processes which result in health alterations in the child and the adult. Alterations in normal body functions leading to disease and discomfort of the individual presented within an organizing framework. Clinical inferences from concepts and theories of pathophysiology and pharmacology presented in relation to clinical nursing practice in primary care.

Practicum

Allows a student to work on an actual or demonstration project to explore aspects of landscape planning, design or processes related to landscape architecture.

Intro American Politics

[AL, IL] U.S. politics have been an object of fascination not only for American citizens but also for scholars, students, and observers from around the world.  This course provides both an introduction to key scholarly arguments about American political institutions, development and participation as well as a chance to engage with the important question of how distinctive the politics of the U.S.
