Relief I - Printmaking

Studio, workshop. The creative print-making process of cutting and printing the raised surfaces of a block. Cutting and printing from various materials including wood, lucite, plaster, masonite, box wood and linoleum. Collograph included. Self-motivated workshop situation. Visual ideas and executions (design and drawings) stressed. Final portfolio required, attendance mandatory. Prerequisite: basic drawing and design, or consent of instructor. $35 materials fee.

Family Economics Policy

This course will provide an overview of issues that are critical to the economic well-being of individuals and families around the world. Their impact on the U.S. economy will be examined. The bulk of the class, however, will be devoted to public programs that affect the economic well-being of families in the United States.
