Serbo-Croatian II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Bosnian-Serbian-Croatian. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Bosnian-Serbian-Croatian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad and to support course work in European Studies.

The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Swahili develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in East Africa (especially Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda) and to support course work in African studies. Prerequisite: Swahili I or the equivalent.
