Selections from various literary genres, including classical poetry, modern fiction, ethnic minority folktales; theory and practice of English translators of Chinese. Discussion of specific problems in Chinese-English translation. Emphasis varies according to individual needs and interests. Prerequisite: CHINESE 427.
