The goal of this course will be to provide a structured and mentored student-based investigation of the impacts of Endocrine Disruptors on human health, the regulatory environment that has overseen the proliferation of these chemicals, and market-based strategies for empowering consumers to make informed choices.

Explores the complex interactions between nutrition and fitness in humans. To this end, we will examine the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, sports nutrition, obesity and weight management, eating disorders, and diets such as vegan and vegetarianism as they relate to fitness and health.

Introduction to ordinary differential equations. First and second order linear differential equations, systems of linear differential equations, Laplace transform, numerical methods, applications. Prerequisite: MATH 132, or 136; corequisite: MATH 233. [Note: Because this course presupposes knowledge of basic math skills, it will satisfy the R1 requirement upon successful completion.]
