Allows mounted students to learn and practice the basic riding position and communication aids for stopping, going and turning at the walk and trot with an introduction to the canter. Instruction will be multidisciplinary. Special emphasis on horse care and overall stable management. For those with no prior horse experience and/or no formal riding instruction.

Designed for those with no scuba experience. Consists of classroom and pool time. Classroom: learning academics of diving; pool time: learning to use scuba equipment. Optional weekend of ocean diving leading to NAUI scuba diver certification, near end of session. First half of semester.
